10g Butter (good teaspoon full)
Half large onion
500g minced beef (don't go for more than 90% lean as the fat helps bind the burgers)
1 tsp mixed herbs
1 large egg, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil to fry burgers
Chop onion finely. Take butter and melt in pan and add onion to cook until lightly browned. Set aside and leave to cool. Whisk egg and add mixed herbs to egg. Mix mince, egg mixture, and cooled onion mixture together. Take small amont of mixture and fry to taste. Add salt/pepper if desired and shape meat into burger patties. You can get 5 burgers out of this! Fry burgers in olive oil until cooked and serve!
